Senior girl Aunt "HATTIE" is a typical Boxer who just happened to join our family at the young age of 9 1/2 years. All Hattie ever needed was a HOME to call her own. Today she is happy and healthy and just ONE OF THE GANG. |

I couldn't think of a better name for an older
Boxer girl then "HATTIE"; it comes from my mother's beloved AUNT
HATTIE (1885-1940). A hand-drawn "Mother's Day" picture
of Aunt Hattie and a young child hangs in my kitchen, sketched
by MY MOTHER when she was a little girl (about 1930). Also, check out http://www.aunthattiesplace.net/. How
appropriate that; AUNT HATTIE’S PLACE is a non-profit organization dedicated
to providing safe, stable, nurturing, and long-term homes for abused,
abandoned, and neglected children in foster care”. Aunt Hattie was
and is a special lady. |
