Missy "PEY" is a FEISTY, petite, fawn and white female Boxer who is playful and LOUD. She is people friendly, dog friendly, somewhat pushy, and SMART. I am pleasantly pleased with all that I am discovering about Pey and amazed at how quickly she learns. I find Pey's boundless energy, her love of running and learning, and her willingness to please, delightfully challenging. ABBY, MAIJA, and BEAR taught Pey how to be a BOXER/DOG and GILLI taught her how to play nicely. She loves running with a pinecone in her mouth, snuggling on the couch with her buddies, and living crate free. Pey, with her warm-hearted, on-the-go spirit, is the silliest dog in my house and she's keeping me laughing every day. First thing in the morning we WALK, than TRAIN and PLAY. Pey is in a NOVICE AGILITY class with Keystone Agility Club and is doing well. |

The expression "pay (pey) it forward" is used to describe the concept of third party beneficiary in which a creditor who offers the debtor the option of "paying" the debt forward by lending it to a third person instead of paying it back to the original creditor. Debt and payments can be monetary or by good deeds. In sociology, this concept is called "generalized reciprocity" or "generalized exchange". A related transaction, which starts with a gift instead of a loan, is alternative giving. (Wikipedia, 2008) "when people repay the benefits they have received - for example, from a parent, friend, mentor, anonymous stranger, or a previous generation - by providing benefits to a third party, someone other than their benefactor" (Moody, 1994, 4). |
